Parent Workshops

Robinsfield Infant School has embraced the current national agenda regards Extended Schools and Every Child Matters with a range of parent workshops offered throughout the year.

By organising and running these workshops we feel it helps us build up trust and positive partnerships with our parents and carers.

The workshops we organise aim to make our children’s lives happier and strengthen the home/school partnerships. Research shows that good parenting also has a significant impact in raising achievement in school.
All workshops are free and take place at the school.
Workshops are run by Westminster Adult Educational Services and focus on areas such as ‘Supporting your child with Numercay’.

We also run bi weekly drop in sessions for parents and carers with our own staff who are trained in child psychotherapy.

Teachers run half termly workshops on areas such as ‘Supporting your child with Sats’ and ‘How to help your child with reading at home’.

Courses are advertised in the weekly reminder and through flyers, please see examples on links below.
